Ye Olde World Challenge This was a WFB interclub event run by the Denizens of the Coast. Given that their web site is now defunct, the information is repeated here.
Firstly thanks to all those that braved the fires, the roads, the chance of getting stuck up at the coast and Mark 'Pimp Daddy' Brown's attempt to 'hook everybody up'. Herein lie the results of YOWC - broken down into rank by rank
Ten teams participated in the 2001 bout, from afar afield as Forster on the mid-North coast and Wollogong on the South Coast. Games Workshop were the first place getters this year, with newcomers (to YOWC) Dogs Of War taking out 2nd place and 3rd place to the Warlords of Castle Hill. All teams were winners and all enjoyed a great day, where sportsmanship and team spirit was the order of the day
Eight teams participated in 2000 from afar afield as Forster on the mid-North coast. Warlords of Castle Hill again played magnificently, winning the 2nd anual event. Greyhawk, Games Workshop and Denizens of the Coast all tied for 2nd place, with the final standings awarded on a countback.
Five teams participated in the inaugural event, with Warlords of Castle Hill just pipping a very tight contest, winning by only a single point. 3 points only separated 1st from 3rd.
