What models are available for Saga
Saga is nominally designed for 28mm models, though other sizes can be used. Gripping Beast is the official miniature manufacturer, but because Sagas is played using historical models you can use models from any other manufacturer.
Apart from your Warlord, infantry models can be on a round or square base between 2cm and 3cm in size and mounted models can be on a round or rectangular base between 4cm and 6cm long. Warlords can be on bases up to 4cm for infantry and 8cm when mounted.
Gripping Beast has a range of metal models packaged for Saga. These work about at between at between $3 and $4 (Australian) per infantry model and just over $6 per mounted model. Their warlord models are a little more expensive. Gripping Beast also make plastic box sets of Vikings, Saxons and Dark Age Warriors that cost about $1 per model.
Gripping Beast also sells starter sets for the different factions. These starter sets contain 4 points worth of metal models, typically 2 units of 8 warriors and either 2 units of hearthguard or one unit of hearthguard and one of levy. The cost of these starter sets varies based on the number of models in the set, and the number of mounted models rather than infantry models. The starter set costs about 20% less than buying the models separately.

Crusader makes metal dark age models, and at about $2.25 per model the prices are about 30% cheaper than the Gripping Beast metal models.
Conquest makes plastic Normans. The infantry models are about $1 a figure and the mounted models are about $4 per model.
