Conquest The Last Argument of Kings
Conquest from Para Bellum can be played in either skirmish mode (First Blood) or as a rank and file wargame (The Last Argument of Kings). The game captured my imagination. Advice from forums was that starting with a starter box provided the best value for money. As of February 2026 these starter boxes were all about USD$ 160, and provided approximately 700 pts worth of models. Starter boxes do tend to get changed content every couple of years.
